Former school board member purchases over $250 worth of bricks for the new neighborhood playground to call out other board members for mismanaging funds

This local city resident knew how much work was put into building this new school playground, so he took the opportunity to purchase several bricks so he could write "disparaging comments" on them about several board members, whose money mismanagement made this project nearly impossible to complete

  • Efforts to build a playground for these kids was finally initiated, pushed back on a lot by the city and school board and so on. A fund raiser was started in which you can spend $250 to buy a brick which will be used in the building of the eventual playground.

  • Now to the petty. A local who was on the school board previously has purchased some bricks for the playground,

  • and on these bricks he had messages printed out such as how the city wanted to fund a gondola that has sit unused for years literally rotting (the city will ALWAYS prioritize tourists).

  • This man had served on the school board for several years and was even, at one point, the vice president of this small community. However, it's safe to say that his time there proved to be counterproductive and frustrating. After it was unveiled that the district was over $10 million in debt and various schools were combined into a limited number of buildings, the folks who were truly getting the short end of the stick here were the students. 

    Not only were they being denied a proper education, but they were also deprived of basic playing space that would allow them to engage in recreational exercise. That socializing factor is a key part of going to school. A playground means more than just leisure. Yet the school district and its various ineffective board members tried to keep this new playground from being finished time and time again. 

    That's only partially why this former board member had an axe to grind. He also likely ended his tenure on the board on a poor note, considering how eager he was to spill all the tea about the mismanagement of funds and incompetent leadership within this group. So, he made sure that the best way to deliver that information was by writing down these revelations onto several bricks that community members were allowed to purchase.

  • The fact this guy is just.. literally putting in stone how horrible these people are? Priceless value petty. The current board members are very b hurt over it, the residents here are meanwhile celebrating.
